These characters were never meant to be a story.
Really, my main character started out as a bored doodle on a math worksheet. But, he grew on me. So I drew him more. I gave him a bit of a personality. I gave him similarly-garbed friends. I made the difficult decision to take away his little shorts because they were too annoying to draw. But my thoughts never went further than those doodles…until a certain character was added.
As early as 2022, I’ve daydreamed about giving these characters a proper story and giving that story a proper home. However, I never got around to putting those thoughts into action—until now. And even after waiting this long, my ideas still aren’t fully formed. We’re kinda mostly definitely totally pantsing things.
